Your practice has partnered with Vapotherm Access to help improve Patient day-to-day care through Remote Patient Monitoring. Vapotherm Access is a program to support your Patients in managing their respiratory symptoms remotely in between regularly scheduled office visits.
No, if the practice seeks reimbursement for our services, Patients may or may not receive bills/explanation of benefits under the practice’s name. Vapotherm Access is not responsible for collecting cost-share and co-payments.
If your practice seeks reimbursement for our services, Patients may or may not have a copay. A Patient’s primary or secondary insurance company will have the most accurate information for their plan and coverage. We recommend Patients to contact them directly and ask about CPT Codes 99453, 99454, and 99457.
Our nurses review Patient submissions and share them with the practice. Patients may receive a call from our Nurses to discuss their symptoms further and a provider from the practice may prescribe new medications or adjust current ones. We will facilitate your prescription calls into Patient’s preferred pharmacy if needed. Our nurses will be able to see your provider’s clinical approvals in the EHR system, and close the loop with the Patient.
The Vapotherm Access Nurses follow clinical protocols and guidelines approved by your practice’s provider. All Nurse Triage Team suggestions are reviewed by your provider and your provider retains all clinical decision-making.
